The York Rite is an appendant body to Freemasonry and is made up of three distinct bodies: the Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, the Council of Cryptic Masons, and the Order of Knights Templar. Each Body contains their own teachings and are taught through degrees that one progresses through on their journey to seek out more light.
